Planting Tips: Raised Bed Vegetables

  1. Fill Beds Generously:
Top raised beds and containers fully. Vegetables root through the whole depth.
  2. Rotate Crops:
Move heavy feeders around the beds season to season to keep the soil balanced.
  3. Keep Moisture Even:
Mulch the surface and water before beds dry out, especially for leafy crops.
  4. Top up Between Crops:
Refresh with compost or the nutrient pack between plantings.
  5. Watch Spacing:
Give each crop its room. Crowded beds compete for light, water, and minerals.
