Coconut & Palms Soil Mix

Palms show hunger in their fronds first.

Why Coconut & Palms Needs its own Blend

Palms are prone to potassium, magnesium, manganese, and boron deficiencies that show as spotting and yellowing in the fronds. This blend emphasizes exactly those minerals, drains well, and keeps organic matter steady so palms hold clean, full canopies.

Planting Tips: Palms

  1. Plant At Grade:
Set palms at the same depth they grew. Planting too deep invites rot.
  2. Watch the Fronds:
Yellowing or spotting on older fronds usually points to a mineral shortfall this blend addresses.
  3. Do Not Overprune:
Leave green fronds on the palm. Removing them starves it of minerals it recycles.
  4. Mulch Wide:
Ring mulch out from the trunk to feed the shallow root zone, kept off the trunk itself.
  5. Water Deeply:
Soak the whole root zone, then let the surface dry before the next watering.
