Planting Tips: Palms
- Plant At Grade:
Set palms at the same depth they grew. Planting too deep invites rot. - Watch the Fronds:
Yellowing or spotting on older fronds usually points to a mineral shortfall this blend addresses. - Do Not Overprune:
Leave green fronds on the palm. Removing them starves it of minerals it recycles. - Mulch Wide:
Ring mulch out from the trunk to feed the shallow root zone, kept off the trunk itself. - Water Deeply:
Soak the whole root zone, then let the surface dry before the next watering.
